I met Dr. Huffmon due to an emergency. I give him high praises for tending to my care when I needed it the most and consider him an outstanding health care provider.
For someone who had been in pain for over two years, headaches, balance issues, numbness etc... I am a new woman! This was one of the most through Dr. visits I have ever had. When he was sure I was a candidate for surgery, he told me he could not promise I would be out of pain, but luckily I am! Dr Huffman is an excellent surgeon!!!
Dr. Huffmon and his surgical assistant Dr. Probst are very professional, thorough and experienced! I have had the best care a patient could possibly have for my procedure.
I was referred to Dr. Huffmon because of a cyst on my spine and I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon and experience. Dr. Huffmon and his staff were great from my first appointment, through surgery, to followup appointments. They always took the time to answer my questions and I've been practically pain free since.
We (I am the caregiver) are very pleased with Dr. Huffmon and staff. Focused, informative, sensitive to both patient and caregiver. Answers to questions were given with patience and in a professional yet friendly manner and in understandable English. The only negative was the wait time between check in.and doctor's appearance. Yesterday it was 30 minutes. Dr. Huffmon's overall care both before and after the patient's surgery more than made up for this inconvenience.
My lower back and entire left leg was in severe pain for several months. Dr. Huffmon removed two cysts from lower back, L4-L5. Once the incision pain was gone, I have been virtually pain free in those areas for 4 months. Awesome surgeon!
I was referred to this doctor by my Ortho doctor but never even met him! First appointment was a joke and second one was a nightmare. Very unprofessional staff. The PA insulted my Ortho doctor's staff and practice and the nurse to Dr. Huffmon was totally unprepared to see me the second visit. I canceled the third! No help at all just a lot of expensive time and tests and then another doctor recommended!
Dr. Huffmon is a fine surgeon, but his staff is one of the most unprofessional, disorganized and dangerous medical staff it has been our displeasure to encounter. We have never considered firing a doctor, until now. I would never place my life or the life of a loved one in these peoples hands. The office manager is by far the worst of the bunch. You would probably have better results going to a back room doctor in Mexico than getting the proper care for yourself or your loved one here.
Two most. post OLIF Surgery. Referral to Dr. Huffmon by Spinal Intervention as L5-S1 collapsed & facet joint fluid was present. Pain excruciating with 8-9 on pain scale. Surgery indicated. Dr. Huffmon throughly explained procedure, informed of risks involved, & showed X-rays. Dr. Huffmon & his staff were extremely competent during office visits and on-going assessments. Surgery went smoothly and doing necessary walking for recovery process. Experienced, skilled neurosurgeon. Thankful.
