I signed up for an entry level CRM, which allowed up to ***** email contacts and we uploaded our customer list, which exceeded the ***** allowed in the membership program. I though that it would just tell me that I had to remove the excess contacts. But no, I immediately received a notice that my membership was being upgraded without my approval. I went into the software and opted out of the auto-renew, which I thought cancelled the upgrade.....nevertheless they've now charged me over $600 for a service that I won't use. ***... read more
As an enterprise CRM software user and administrator in the past, my expectations were high and I was initially engaged by the perceived value of the product but HubSpot has really gone overboard in nickle and diming their customers. Its too bad, because its a good product, but putting such simple features behind increasingly more expensive pay walls is such bad business. I usually dont leave negative reviews, but I felt obliged to warn folks out there... if you are considering a CRM, run the other way!

I am incredibly disappointed in their dishonest business practices and lack of decent customer service. I have been using ********************** for years. Recently, I signed up for a new account on behalf of a client. We discovered that we're overpaying for a tier of service we don't need, and we have attempted to downgrade. If I could give them zero stars I would. It is SO easy to sign up. But after that? It is so difficult to "talk" to anyone. They may return your email. I have had way too many frustrating encounters with this company. If I could cancel I would. The product is okay if you can USE it. My feeling is that there must be better companies out there that are better with communication. If you have a problem with a bill....email us. If you have a problem with the software....email us. Stay away from this company.
Do not use Hubspot. If you have to cancel, they will not let you. The customer service is hard to deal with and turns over all the time.
I signed up with them but decided to go with another CRM Company and they haven't returned any emails about my money. I highly recommend to stay away from this company. I won't stop until I get my money back!!+ HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Good product, terrible sales process. I reached out asking how I can attach a document to a ticket. I was told I would need to upgrade my account and I would get a big discount as they were at the quarters end. Come to find out, no purchase was necessary rather was sold an account upgrade to help a sales rep hit his quota. It has now been over 2 months trying to have this upgrade canceled and they ignore all request.DO NOT USE their sales team to purchase, they will mislead.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Effectively useless and difficult to use software with your website while also providing terrible customer service. Company locks you into a long term contract with high fees. Agree with other negative reviews of the company.
