History Established in 2007. Flat Rock's only general store, Peace's Grocery, located at the intersection of W. Blue Ridge Road and Hwy 225, closed in the 1980s after nearly 100 years. The closure left a void in the community. The building sat vacant for several years until Starr Teel and Virginia Spiegner, reopened the store in 1990. Virginia opened her store, The Wrinkled Egg, and Starr began baking in the back room of the store. Great food, love the sides especially. Outdoor seating as well as covered seating is good for anytime of year. The staff are especially friendly and helpful.

Delicious BBQ, non traditional sides that are absolutely amazing, great craft beer choices and outdoor seating with heaters. Atmosphere was nice, staff friendly and very accommodating . Highly recommend Hubba Hubba.

We have broke bread with many friends that are what we call chicken fans (Gamecock fans), but we have never dined with actual chickens! Loved it! And the grilled pimento cheese sandwiches with pulled pork were awesome too!! 😂
The food is amazing. the service goes beyond excellent. They make sure that you feel super comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing. we were traveling from Florida and they make sure that all my cravings were pleased. Every year no matter where we are going , we detour to Hubba Hubba. Thank you for making our day!
Hubba Hubba provides part of our catered menu for our son’s elopement. The BBQ and sauces were wonderful and everyone loved it. The pricing and service was also great. I would consider them for your next event!
