I have used polar ice rods for 35years!
HT has some good ice fishing gear at reasonable prices. I like my new Nero auger, polar pop up and ice blue rod.
I like my rods. Good for a beginner with good prices.
Awesome rods. Lightweight and super sensitive. Perfect for bream, crappie, and bass. Love the Jimmy Houston products.
I own a HT POLAR ESCAPE 2-MAN SHELTER which I love. My issue is with the customer service.. Made many attempts ( Website, email and direct call) to order some parts so I can store the unit for the next season. I have received NO reply. Apparently the customer is not a concern once they sell the product. Very Disappointed

Bought a one man ice shack for 200$ at cabelas , couldn't be more disappointed. Zipper broke , seat broke , and falling apart after using it for not even a day. Biggest piece of junk I've owned for ice fishing. Worst part is I bought it in the summer so my 90 day cabelas satisfaction guarantee is long gone. Lesson learned don't buy ice gear in the off season and definitely stay away from these tents complete and utter junk!
