I had an MRI in Nov. I then had surgery at Oakleaf the beginning of Dec. I received a bill from Sacred Heart for what was owed after insurance paid some. I made a partial payment. I was off work for two months during rehab and went back to work after 8 weeks. I had received a nasty collection letter from them by then. I had lived on short-term disability while off, which barely covers living expenses. With my first paycheck the beginning of March, I gave them another payment. I do not recommend for pediatric surgery. We had an incredibly rude recovery room nurse, Lisa, she had no compassion what so ever. She was even rude to other nurses! Just set a bad tone for the rest of my grandma's stay. Plus none of the nurses seemed to know anything about his condition, laryngomalacia.
RecommendedMy visit was very pleasant. Everyone was courteous from the receptionist to the x ray dept. I did not have a king walt time and was very pleased.

RecommendedMy husband was recently a patient at St. Anthony’s for same day surgery, but because of complications was admitted and stayed four days. Every medical professional he had, from the receptionist, nurses of all levels in surgery and on the floor, Dr. Nayak and his nurse, Jen, - they were the most caring, attentive, wonderful people we could have asked for! At a frightening time for us, they were amazing! I cannot thank them enough for the great care he received!
