I took my 80 year old mother to the er tonight. Dr young was the doctor who treated her. I have never been so appalled by a doctors behavior. He placed undue pain on her and spoke to her like she was "dumb and old". This was exactly how she felt. She is elderly but an extremely smart and strong woman who has worked for this hospital for so many years. I will be taking action tomorrow. Recommendedyes they were her caring patient people when I gave birth to my first son in 2010.. and the nurses were very understanding when I lost a son in 2012.
Despicable to say the least, my detoriating aunt was brought to this hospital with mental issues of schizophrenia she was brought in by ambulance & they RELEASED HER to walk out w/o a loved one to pick her up, then called to say they let her go after the fact.had to report her as a missing person Thank you Jesus Greenville police found her just before dark.
I just delivered my 3rd baby here at HSHS with Midwife Susan Lock & I absolutely loved the experience! We drive/drove an hour & 45 mins for our appointments, & I would absolutely recommend this facility to any expecting parents looking for a caring, compassionate care center. I would recommend this wonderful facility to any expectant parents wanting to be supported during their birth experience. The staff loves what they do and they take such amazing care of you! We couldn't have possibly imagined a better stay in the hospital after they helped us deliver our son. If I ever have another child, I will definitely be coming back here!!
I've delivered both my son and daughter here at HSHS Holy Family Hospital and both times our stay has been absolutely outstanding. The doctors and nursing staff has always gone above and beyond to be helpful and available if needed. Susan Lock delivered my son and she is absolutely amazing! I definitely would reccomend her. The nursing staff in OB always went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They made sure we were all taken care of even when it was very busy.
