They ensured us after a computer system glitched that the charges didn't go through. So they deleted them and re-charged everything. Then a couple days later both charged occurrences go through the bank. We call the company. They tell us when they look at the system it only shows the one only.
I bought the online program and attempted to install it on my MAC with an error message appearing. Tried to install on my windows computer. It would not install on that either. Spent 2 hours on hold to never hear a human voice. The freaking call number would hang up on me after approximately 30 minutes. Now that I have attempted numerous installs, I have exceeded my 7 try limit. I cannot get help. So frustrated right now I could cry. Went to H&R for tax prep. Simple low income retired with no extra forms to file. They charged me over $400 EVEN with no forms other than my **** pension. As if that isn't bad enough, The state issued my refund on March 21st. Instead of being sent to me, H&R had it sent to their bank. Today, April 12th, twenty two days later, H&R's bank hasn't sent me a *****. They advertise free filing for low income...Well THAT's a crock of bovine ***** matter.
Went in to have my taxes done because the ********************** to do so. I get to this place of business and Im told they are booked. I said why would they direct me here if they were booked. I was told corporate overwhelms them. So I left and called the ********************************************************** and told the receptionist I was directed back again. I attempted to e-file my taxes this weekend. My federal got rejected because the online program decided that one of the credits H&R Block were including was going to note that I was filing as "married, filing jointly," while the rest of my taxes were being filed as "single." I printed the paperwork to mail in my returns, when I noticed that my state return requires me to file additional paperwork, that I had not previously intended on filing. YOU ALL PRICE GAUGE UNEMPLOYED STUDENTS. My mother, who makes over 100k a year, paid less with her CPA to file her taxes.My CPA was rude, I experienced very uncomfortable micro-aggressions, and I was told that I had to pay $500 and I couldn't use my miniscule return to pay it. I had to put it on my freaking credit card. Will NEVER file with any of your branches again. I hope you enjoy taking $500 from a broke grad student who now needs to figure how I will eat for the next month!!! Cheers to you!
I scheduled a tax appt with ******* McCoord at H&R Block in **********, **. She refused to review my property taxes automatically assuming I didnt have enough to itemize. I asked if there were any credits or additional stimulus money that could help lower the *** of tax debt owed. She looked at me shrugging her shoulders and states, "Not that I know of." Hand R Block has not helped me in a year. I cant get ab answer and when someone DOES answer, its usually to tell me that I can call another number? why cant they give me an answer? The *** will take your money just like Hand R Block does. ****** to prepare my taxes just to tell me that they cant do anymore to locate my money.
