H&R Block internet Tax Software is flawed. After completing the tax preparation I attempted to E-file using the free code supplied by the company. They advertise that you can file up to five free returns. Everything was completed and ready to transmit to the **** I hit send. Please save yourself some trouble and Do Not get your taxes done at H& R block with *****************************, located in Indianapolis Indiana works at different locations. He mislead me in purchasing an ******* H&Ms block card under the impression I would get my refund instantly which was done right there while getting my taxes done, pay for the service on top of paying him to get my taxes done, get home and received an email that I wouldnt get refund instantly and I would need to wait the usual timing in order to get i... read more

I have used H&R Block every year and never had problems until this year. I filed my taxes like I normally do but immediately got rejected. I get notes on why my taxes were rejected and how to fix the issue but it will not let me fix the issue at all. H&R Block told me it was a glitch in the system and I should try again in a few days. I would have given zero star if there was an option for it. I filed my 2020 tax return thru them but It was never made available online for me to review. when I told them that can't review and want to use another firm they told me that I could do it but I would still owe them **************************************** to file thru them and now when I need it for filing 2022 return, it's still not available online and they are asking me to get it thru IRS since they can't mail me the paper copy. I filed my taxes at a local HandR block location in ** and decided to have my refund put on the Emerald **** that they offer for faster returns. I made a online purchase with this **** and it was declined but apparently there was a hold on the funds from the emerald ****. I have contacted the **** number on the back of the **** and spoke to 3 different people in customer service and asked for a supervisor each time as I am unable to understand the dialect of the workers and I have been hung up on each time! I filed my taxes with H&R block and they were prepared incorrectly, the office who suppose to help me resolved stop responding to my calls and emails. I have open several internal claims in the last 6 months, and nobody has called me back.

H&R block used to make it easy to put in your info ,if you have and idenafication number you can enter it with no problem social security does not have that and when you ask about that they will tell you how but want to charge you for it this is in free filing, they changed the format from last year.as a result i filed with turbo tax and had no problem.if they don't like people filing for free then they should not offer it

I received horrible customer service at the ********************** Shops ***************** in MD. I went to the office today to have my taxes prepared. After the preparer completed my report I was rushed to the front of the office for payment processing. And it was then that I noticed her putting a bunch of loose documents in an envelope.
