This company is terrible. I have been waiting for my tax refund since Feb 28th, it is now March 24th and I am still calling and still getting the round around.Every time I call I get a different story from whoever is on the line. I am furious that I paid for this service and they keep outright lying. First I would get it on the 21st, never did. Then I would get it on the 24th.Never did. The prices charged by H&R Block were three and a half times the average prices charged by other tax preparers in our area. We chose H&R Block because we had used their online software but had unique questions that we needed assistance with. Upon arrival at the H&R Block office we were told "the two software systems aren't compatible." So, in effect, we paid dearly for data entry of a simple tax return that was already nearly completed. DONT USE THIS COMPANY . I have been using them for over 5 years now and this year when I logged in ALL my business information was GONE. So I had to manually redo all of that info, specifically my depreciations, which is a pain in the ****. No one had anything to tell me except "we dont save your personal information." Bull you dont, all my SSN numbers are still in there. I got charged too much to do the taxes and plus on top of that I got another ******************* from the irs and I asked ***** if I would be charged and said it has nothing to do with us he explained about the tax tables but the real pro is about me not having enough money and the irs website is so stupid because I tried verifying my drivers license a million times and it still can't verify my account when I got an email saying my account was verified. Not only are they slow, they are not able to keep track of my documents to finish everything I needed done. Once reminded, they dragged their feet. I finally went in and asked for my property tax return to complete it myself. The tax prepper never even bothered to get up from his desk. Front desk staff was apathetic and handed me my documents. No offer to refund. Awful

They take your money with out explaining your options even when you ask. Studded to have owed money and then additional money was charged after it was questioned. No one seems to truly care about the clients! I will never ever put my trust in this place again. DO NOT GO TO PLAISTOW H&R BLOCK!

we have tried over and over to contact h and r block and the automated system hang up on us every time. Their phone can system is useless to me..

I had my original tax preparation appointment with the H&R Block office at ***** ***************** Suite #** in ******************************** on March 10, 2022 at 7 pm EST. I arrived and after waiting over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time I was finally linked up with my tax preparer who stated the previous client had taken longer than scheduled and since the office closed at 8 pm EST I was asked to re-scheduled to March 17th at 6 pm EST to allow for a two hour session due to my tax situation.
