BE AWARE!!!! I filed my taxes here on February 26th 2025 and was quoted and eventually charged for an instant refund to find out days later THOUSANDS more will be sent to H&R Block on my behalf. I was the one who had to bring this to their attention and now should be receiving the difference later than I otherwise would have through the CRA. Did not understand what she was saying at all the secretary did my taxes worst expirence ever defiantly never comeing her again it was a nightmare waited for 2 hrs fir nothing I was waiting in the waiting area the lady sit down next to me told me all the information about my taxes their there was other people their so they heard all my information this is highly unprofessional
“Professionals” who don't file returns for the first timers because its “complicated” This is what I got told when I came there after mentioning on my application that its gonna be my first time filing.
So they gave me an appointment time for 7 pm tonight the lady who did my taxes was an Asian lady I could not for the life of me understand a word she was saying tax information is very sensitive information I tried to be patient but for someone to speak such broken English that I couldn't communicate to this lady or understand what she was saying was frankly disturbing and really makes you question how she got the job in the first place assuming they did a formal interview it is beyond my capability of understanding as to ho... read more
