Too slick & rehearsed – We were disappointed in the number of rehearsed songs played during our night at Howl at the Moon. We went to this dueling piano bar expecting to hear songs played at the request of those in the audience - primarily played on the piano instead of with a full band. We could have gone to any bar to see a band play rehearsed songs. That isn't why we went to Howl at the Moon. We encourage the owners to reduce the number of rehearsed songs and increase the number of songs played by request.
Don't go there if you have had a few cocktails... – Prior to going to Howl at the Moon, I had read several reviews. In particular, one that stated that they were refused entry because the group had been drinking prior to going to the bar. I thought to myself, wow - they must have been drunk and obnoxious at the door. How could anyone not gain entry into THAT PLACE. DO NOT use a debit/credit card at Howl at the Moon – Two of us used a debit/credit card on a Friday night and found out the next week that the tab amount had been drafted out of our accounts on Monday but a hold on funds was still pending on our account Tuesday. When we called the company to speak with them regarding the hold, the employee stated that this was a constant problem for them and had been for 2 years. Not for me – High cover charge for the quality of music. Band/musicians were mediocre and the choice of songs was lousy. Mostly bar or drinking songs and I had expected more. Did not play many requests. Drinks were poor quality so stick with beer. Nothing but standard American brews, mostly light beers. No good imports or good American brews. Would not go there again.
PERFECT PLACE TO CELEBRATE! – What more could you ask for? Live entertainment, reasonable prices, and good food! We came to Howl for my friends birthday. The highlight of the night was when they got her up on stage and had her spin a wheel! She ended up winning a free bar tab! We will definitely be back!!
sh!t – well where do i start...no good looking broads,nogood songs worth listening,and certainly they do have watered down drinks do'nt belive me, buy there crown and then taste some real crown from the liqour store and see what i mean....i rather go to swigs..they don't pour water in my glass..
Great for Any Age – I think this is a great place to go for someone like me... I'm married with 2 kids, and find it hard to go to a bar where I can have fun. Howl is right up my alley! My husband and I go often and we even go with our kids when they come in town. I recommend this piano bar to everyone of all ages :) The music is great and the musicians are funny too.
WHAT? – This is not a place to go unless you want to get drunk. That's the only way you will enjoy the so called music. The least they could do is hire a hott girl to sing. Look at the video to see what I mean...can you say "soo-eh"!
