Caverns itself were awesome, tour was great. Only issue was waiting. Standing in line for over 2 hours kinda stunk, luckily I had a book in the car. It's unfortunate you can't buy a time slot, or go and do some of the other activities instead of just standing in a line
My family, along with another family visited Howe Caverns yesterday. We had a blast. Our son, who is 5, has autism. We were worried how he was going to handle it. He did great. Our tour guides were awesome. We will definitely come back.
I loved it! And my two teenagers who can be hard to please loved it too. Three days trip filled with Howe Caverns, Adventure Park, Iroquois museum, Go-kart racing, and Secret Caverns - all within 10 minutes driving range. Highly recommend it! And do both caverns. Different experience. Howe caverns - first. Secret caverns - on a second or a third day.
Our tour guide Olivia was amazing. She was super funny, extremely attentive, and took her time. We loved every second of it and would definitely come back again.
It was awesome and we're coming back cuz we didn't get to do everything that we wanted to do and we're going to try that extreme caving would definitely recommend it.
The cavern was very interesting and lots of fun. I would return there tomorrow if I could. It was that good. The best part of the entire trip was going along with some of the best student interns and staff that I have ever had the chance to be learning together with in such a great program.
This is such a cool place ... I really enjoyed the caverns and my daughter (age 14) did as well. Definitely worth the visit, the time and the entrance fees were quite reasonable. Our tour guide Sarah was terrific.
