Amazing caverns! Great tour guides. The tour was very cool and my kids never got bored. We did the zip line, gem mining, and rope walk as well. We bought some cave aged cheese (so good!) and candy. The kids wanted to do the other stuff, but we had already spent close to $200 and everything shut down at 5 so we only got 4 hours there. Still giving four stars because it was very well run and a unique experience. Just bring your $!
First time I had ever been and it was ok... nothing overly spectacular but decent for a family outing... bring a sweater or jacket even on the regular tour as the cave is chilly at about 52 and you're underground for the better part of 90 minutes.
Love the place. I've been going there since the mid-sixties, always a new nugget of info to be learned and experienced.
I want sure what to expect of this place. We took a side trip there on our way home and we're pleaaantly surprised. The tour of the cave was well done including a short but pleasant boat ride. The guide was very informative. The entire grounds was well kept and they've added other activities including a zip line, rock wall climbing and giant rubber balls that you climb into and roll down a hill. Great place to spend a couple of hours up to a full day.
