I lived in a 1bed 1bath apartment in Point Breeze with Howard West for 1 year. My experience with them was positive and overall uneventful! The unit was gorgeous, rent was fair, they were understanding of life conditions, and fixed issues in a timely manner. They were generally open to working through any problems and enforced property rules with parking which was appreciated.
My whole experience renting for Howard West Properties was great! My apartment was a rare find (Shadyside) with lots of Pittsburgh home charm to it! Beautiful original woodwork throughout. I would rent from them again.

I rented with Howard West for a year in 2022-23 and they were by far the best experience I've had working with a landlord/property manager in Pittsburgh - the only reason I didn't extend my lease was that I was moving in with my partner. I was in an apartment building in North Point Breeze and while the apartment building was older, the unit itself was clean and comfortable.
