It would probably be in their BEST interest to not tell customers they would hold a bike for them if they knew they wouldn’t stick to their word. Good business isn’t giving someone your word of mouth and going back on it, especially without any kind of warning. My fiancé took the day off and showed up *earlier* than the time the guy told him with money in hand for NOTHING. Do better.
Long time customer of Howard's.... I have purchased ala mower, snow blower and a Generac power washer. I believe in small, local business. Brand New power washer 10 months old 10-12hours on the machine - property stored. Machine started acting up with the electric start and there was small leaking from pump. Drop it off April 20th at Howard's May 20th started calling each morning staying on hold for 4-6 hours a day (not joking). Finally I went up there on June 5th taking the morning off of work. My Buddy and I went to a competitor in Dearborn (don’t even want to give them recognition) a few weeks ago to get pick up 2 mini bikes and we were treated like complete trash! On 3 different occasions. The staff was terrible then there manager contacted me after I gave a bad review and tried to smooth stuff over but it was to late.. Then we found Howard’s, we went these and found the customer service we were looking for! They were upfront about being out of mini bikes but allowed us to pay for 2 on there next shipment. Brought my scooter in there this morning for an oil change was in and out in 15 minutes. Bought the scooter there in August of 19 Local shop needs supporting in a world of Big dealers totally worth it.

Mark-ups too high! Customer service leaves much to be desired! Takes too long to get equipment serviced... you call daily for a week then, hearing nothing, you wait a week and they tell you that your equipment's been ready for a week and they charge you for storing it! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!
