Office staff is rude and makes scheduling hard almost look like they do a favor booking the appointment.
My father, who is also a physician and surgeon, was treated with total disregard, apathy and lack of respect during several visits that the last straw was a scheduled procedure. Jeffrey screamed at my father for asking a routine question that any board certified physician and office staff would know. Jeffrey also refused to make eye contact or ask appropriate questions. Dr. Szomstein operated on me twice, 5 years apart due my serious, on-going diverticulitis. Both times he was great, caring and even visiting me at the hospital on a Sunday. The staff went out of their way to schedule my surgery on the day I wanted (and needed). I have recommended him to others and have never heard any bad feedback.
Dr. Sable was professional and pleasant to meet with. Interacting with his office for appointments and getting basic information is Terrible. Difficult to get a hold of anyone, always on hold most of the time, they take your info then hang up on you after holding. Don't return emails or calls in a timely fashion. The Dr seems great, but I not worth the pain of dealing with his staff.
Office is horrible!!! I was unable to get my medication. Keeps telling me to call different numbers and blaming insurance and pharmacy on their negligence. When asked to speak with doctor, he is unavailable and does not call back EVER. Worst experience, stay away from Gastro Health.
My first visit with Dr. palmer’s office I waited 90 minutes in the lobby before being taken in to see a nurse. She was very apologetic and did a really good job. In fact the staff is all very nice so I went back for a follow up. This time after waiting 70 minutes in the lobby I could not wait any longer and as politely as possible told the staff I was leaving. A patient’s time is valuable as well. It was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I won’t be back.
He is very thorough and extremely caring. I would recommend him in a minute. He saved my life.
I had gone to 5 different doctors over 3 years trying to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Palmer was the only one who was able to figure that I had a rare hereditary disease and for that I'll be forever grateful.
Had good bedside manor, communication, and showed compassion.
