My first visit with Dr. Rabassa I gave him 5 stars. My second visit was a disaster, no eye contact, didn't pay attention to my concerns, he was rude and I couldn't believe the change from my first visit to the second visit. Sent me to his coordinator to do a colonoscopy and rushed me out of his office.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shah for a few years and I think he is great. I have never had a reason to complain about him at all, my issue is with the staff, the waits are long and the office staff is not attentive. Trying to get staff on the phone for an appointment is impossible. At the moment, I am waiting for an appointment which was supposed to have been scheduled by one of his staff. Dr Palmer is an expert in his field. He speaks to his patients after each procedure. The staff is the Pre- Op is very competent as well as comforting This is my 3rd colonoscopy with Dr Palmer and I am completely content with his expertise in his field and the care that I received from him There NEEDS to still be additional research in the pre work that needs to be done before a colonoscopy. The weakness and possible dehydration is something that a patient shouldn’t have to deal with before the actual procedure
Gastro Heath is probably not a good place to have medical procedures done because their customer service stinks. As a patient with any facility, I'd like to reach them for any inquiries about myself. I had a procedure on March 23, 2023; Today is 4/11/23, and I still need help to contact someone at Gastro Health, Dr. Somal Shah's office. I have been trying to meet with Dr. Sable since February 2023. The office has cancelled my appointment for consultation twice. When I call, after waiting through the recording, someone picks up and then hangs up the line. I won't be wasting my time with this doctor or his office.
Very professional, friendly and addresses questions and concerns in a comprehensive manner
Unfortunately although he is a great doctor, the lack of follow up and customer service tarnishes everything. I was in the worst pain of my life after surgery and no one bothered checking on me after a dozen calls to his office.
He makes lots of unnecessary tests.
Colonoscopy 100% Covered by Insurance. Not so WPB Office says it covered but do not tell you the Visit before you get the procedure which is mandatory is not covered by most Insurances as its considered a straight office visit and it carries a hefty charge. Just letting everyone know ahead of time.
