Clean enough for a beach hotel. My ocean view was “partial”....we paid $70 to rent 4 lawn chairs n 2umbrellas for the day. Rough crowd on Saturday, Sunday was more relaxed and family friendly. Check-in isn’t till 4 but they call u if it’s ready early� Which 1 of 2rooms was....used my Whyndam points so for free rooms can’t complain too much:) Front desk agents Daja n Tanya were super helpful and nice �
Disappointed with the check In process - arrived at 1pm was told by front desk our room would be ready by 1:30pm-2pm was told they would call us to be able to receive room keys - went and checked with front desk at 2pm - still not ready ! no call by 3:30 went back to find out if room was ready and low and behold was ready but no call! Rooms are pretty run down looking - but the mattress and pillows were very comfy - food at toasted monkey was excellent ! Great entertainment also! It might not be fancy but its clean ,people very friendly and accommodating Wonderful tikki bar pool area !!Beach is Amazing and so close� And the Restaurant attached is Wonderful� Thank you for an Awesome girls vacation will defiantly come again�

JUST GOT BACK HOME FROM MY STAY AT THIS WONDERFUL HOTEL. LOVED THE STAFF, ROOMS, HTD. POOL, GROUNDS.ETC. VERY KIND, CARING STAFF, GREAT HEATED POOL, VERY WELL MAINTAINED GROUNDS, VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE ROOMS, SLEPT WELL IN THE SOFT BED. SORRY TO HEAR THAT AROUND NEXT SPRING THAT THIS HOTEL WILL NO LONGER BE A HOWARD JOHNSON AND WILL BE A DOUBLE TREE HOTEL. WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD STAYING HERE ANYMORE, AS DOUBLE TREE IS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE!
