Absolute garbage.. booked a last minute room for my daughter and myself, and will never book with a Howard Johnson again. Just on our way to our room, there was graffiti in the hallways, and garbage on the floors. The room hasn't been cleaned for many days, as I found the receipt from the last occupant laying next to the garbage can. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Checked out immediately and went to another hotel down the road. Dirty, stained, worn out, small, cold and extremely out dated. Looks like a motel from a horror movie.
Great location. Parking needs some work to reflect better sense of caring about guests. Customer service is NOT good. The female receptionist/ Front desk on Saturday afternoon (9ish pm of December 28th of 2019) was one of the most unfriendly individuals I've ever seen in the hospitality industry. She was walking back and forth behind the desk with her headphones on in a maniac way, so no one can approach her with any questions. Horrible! Dirty and falling apart. Never saw anyone cleaning ever. Our room had mold in the bathroom and dirt on the walls and stains on the carpet.
