When we arrived the hotel looked old but I was willing to try it out. I needed a handicapped room for my husband. I thought a 100.00 was a little high with a military discount but again we were tired. We went to the room. They were stripping the beds. I we.ntbin room smelled strongly of smoke. We did not stay.

This is an older property and the building is a little rundown, could use some upkeep. The staff were friendly though.

The room was pretty clean. We checked in a little late Friday night and the woman at the front counter was super nice. The bathroom definitely needs some type of vent, looked like mold was beginning to grow on the ceiling of the shower due to the moisture. The grounds were well kept. Definitely a little pricy for the type of hotel though.

I recently stayed at Howard Johnson for work, and unfortunately, my experience was far from acceptable. From the moment I walked in, things went downhill. **Cleanliness:** The room had a musty smell and appeared not to have been properly cleaned in quite some time. I found stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases. The bathroom floor was dirty, with visible soap scum and hair in the corners.
