At Hillstone, we work closely with local vendors to ensure the produce, meat, fish, and chicken are of the highest standard. Well the wait is always long but when we arrived about 5:50PM, we were told it would be 45 minute wait. Great we said and settle down watching the grill cook. The wait time was way off! We didn't get a seat until 7:30. It was worth the wait though. They could have comped an appetizer or dessert for the excessive wait time mistake... however with that said we still had a fantastic time and the food was great
Food was excellent. Braised cabbage is the bomb! Bar service was slow. Server seemed to have many tables and was running food . Would have been nice to have ourfood boxed up, but she just brought us the containers and a bag. No water refills.
My visit to Houston's was delightful! I I set a 6:30pm reservation & arrived 15 mins early. No problem - they seated us right away. There was an airvent above us blowing uncomfortably cool air. We informed the waitress & -BAM- she made the problem disappear! Drinks were tight, dinner was prompt & hot, service was impeccable. Oh - and the JAZZ band was strong too! Well done Houston's!! You exceeded my expectations...as always!
The Spinish dip I could eat everyday... My steak was off twice once over cooked once under cooked so I brought it home and put in oven....
