Dr Henke and staff have been amazing for our family over the past 10 years. He came highly recommended and I quickly found out why. He has helped our fuzzy family members over the years and has shown great care and compassion when difficult decisions had to be made. Thankful for the Crew at Houston Lake Animal Hospital.
We absolutely love and trust Dr Henke and his staff. We get excellent care for all 3 dogs and cat. He is very knowledgeable and honest. We completely trust that our animals are in the best care whenver they are there.

Every visit is wonderful unless I run into the receptionist named Desiree. I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone. Just avoid Desiree and everyone else is amazing.
Houston Lake Animal Hospital is the best! Our babies have been patients of Dr. Henke's for over 13 years. He is always professional, knowledgeable and understanding with us--even when we are faced with tough decisions. The staff members at Houston Lake Animal Hospital have always been kind, courteous, and helpful!
The first incident happened when i order my boston terrier prescription diet food online.The one receptionist went off on me. The second incident happen on Feb 2 when i noticed my pug was not bearing weight on his front leg; this was at 5:30 pm. I called the clinic explained what happen, i was told there was appointment available the next morning at 9am. Mind you i have a client with them for over a year. At midnight I called Dr. Henke and he called me right back to give advice for a friend's dog that wasn't his patient! He was the ONLY vet who provided a phone number and actually returned our call in the middle of the night - even though the sick puppy wasn't his patient! Thank you Dr. Henke! You truly are the BEST!
