I was hired by a client in the middle of the pandemic and they advised me that they lost 1/2 of the deposit because they had to reschedule their wedding in the middle of a pandemic, when city ordinances are in full effect. They’re more concerned about their money than the client. they were offered 1/2 of the deposit towards a new date but had already lost 2k of it which was not a choice but the city would not allow big gatherings. all other vendors were okay and understanding but this place? doesn’t care. DO NOT RECOMMEND

RecommendedMy partner and I absolutely adore House on the Hill! We were married there last December and had a magical experience. I can’t think of another word to describe it. The venue itself was breathtaking! The weather behaved, which was truly surprising for Texas winter! And the guests and everyone had an incredible time. RecommendedI had my wedding here and we loved how cozy and easy going the venue is. It is a small place, my only wish is that the dining room was a bit bigger, but it was a home for someone previously. It is a great place to consider if you are in a budget. The trees make the outdoor pictures beautiful. You can even spend the night! Enough room for family and friends! There is a pool too!
