I loved the restaurant and staff but the sleeping room was not good. Shower was all cracked with bad shower head. I would not use. Toilet seat very loose. Pillows VERY flat and sheets did not smell clean.
Phenomenal historic place! We stayed overnight at the hotel and were greeted warmly by Suzell. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable with buttery soft sheets on the bed and plenty of cozy seating to watch the incoming storm over Lake Michigan. Our dinner was superb and we were treated to fantastic stories by Ed as we wound down our evening at the bar. Thank you both for an incredible stay -- we'll definitely be back again!!

A gem in the city of Escanaba. The fish fry is wünderbarn... the deep fried pickles and gimlets inspire my dreams.
