Your tastebuds are not mine? – Been there sevceral times for dining and carryout. Duck is pretty good, to go dishes were ample portioned and just aas good as when I was sitting in the restaraunt. Love the crispy beef and walnut prawns!! Going back again next week.

What's wrong with Seattle Chinese food? – I think this restaurant was once voted "the best place" for dim sum? LOL I have been there before and I was there again this past weekend - Food is horrible - they are slow to come out, and by the time it gets to your table it is cold. Dim sum taste bad, service is bad and you have to deal with this parking attendent who thinks he owns the entire street outside of the restaurant. Someone gave this restaurant a 8.8 rating out of 10!! You gotta be kidding me. I have had plenty of decen... read more

Good Cantonese food. I appreciate almond chicken and sweet and sour prawns, and House of Hong prepares it well. But there is a broad range of Chinese food available. The ambiance is much improved--it's now open and more cheery, rather than the former cavernlike appearance. Dim sun is also available, but the selection is not as comprehensive at non-peak hours. There have been times I have been less impressed, but overall I keep coming back.

House of Wrong! – I used to be a regular at this restaurant when it was a reincarnation of the legendary Atlas Cafe. I recently returned after 8 years absence. I will not make that mistake again. The food was utterly bad, portions small and the ambience non-existent. The only good thing I can say about the place is that it does have parking. What did this place do with the dishes that made the Atlas Cafe the talk of Chinatown?

Dim sum or dinner – I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dim sum since they have a large selection to choose from and their prices are pretty good, however, the parking is hard to find (much like any other ID restaurant) and the service isn't the greatest. As far as dinner goes, this restaurant is alright, not my favorite chinese food restaurant, but I would go there for their honey walnut prawns. This is a good restaurant for a large crowd and if you want to eat dim sum later since they end theirs at 3 pm not 2 ... read more

Highly Recommend – Everything was great - fast seating, very convenient parking! Very friendly service, handicap accessible, all requests granted. Food was fresh and tasty, great variety of Dim Sum and anything else you ask for. Crispy duck was perfect w plum sauce. Prices reasonable and staff was great. Definitely would come here again to try more of the menu another time!

What More Could You Ask? – Best dim sum in Seattle, with quick service, reasonable prices, a location on the edge of the colorful ID, and the world's friendliest parking lot attendant across the street!

Best Sunday Brunch Dim Sum – On a cold Sunday morning, House of Hong is hard to beat for a different type of brunch. Terrific selection of conventional and unusual dim sum, combined with decent quantities and low prices, have kept this restaurant an International District icon for years and years.
