Disappointed I recently walked in for a hair cut 1 hour and 15 min. before the store closed to get a trim and was plainly told they were not taking anymore people. There was a manager and two stylists there. One was cutting hair and the other was reading a magazine. The manager told me that the one sitting was waiting on an appointment so I could not be helped. Great service! When I had a bad hair mishap, I called and they rushed me right in. They fixed my bleached looking hair in a snap and didn't charge me an arm and a leg to do it, either!
Great Family salon Heather has been doing my hair there for two years. I am always pleased with her service. She treats me and my beauty needs with respect and always does what I want. She also does my eyebrows and I will never trust anyone else to do them again.I always have a relaxed and fun experirnce when I go see her, and I always walk out with a boost of self confidence because my hair looks great.
St. Albans store is a no but Southridge location is a yes I went to the St. Albans location for a few years and was very displeased. The lady that did my hair would tell me to schedule my appointments for an hour when I called in because my hair was very long. However, when I would do this she would show up 20 minutes to half an hour late every time. Then, she would rush me because she was behind. My haircuts would be lopsided or jagged. Wonderful Salon I travel a lot and when I get my color and cuts done I go to Vanessa or Heather. Any time I get my hair done in a bigger more expensive salon out of state they are impressed with my color and cut and the way my hair feels. I credit House of Dimitri with that. I Love my hair color and my cut is so easy to deal with! I highly recommend them, espacially if you live in Kanawha County. I've gotten hack jobs at other salons in the area and will never stray again, believe me! Barbra W.
CUT MY BABY'S EAR!! I took my 16 month old baby boy in this morning for his 2nd haircut. He sat there good as gold through the whole cut but at the end the girl rewarded him for his good behavior by CUTTING HIS EAR!!! It was CARELESSNESS plain and simple!!!!!!!! The more time goes by the more angry I'm getting. Won't EVER go back!! I didn't get the name of the girl but she works at the station on the left 4th chair from the window. Lets hope it doesn't get infected!

From a House of Dimitri employee... I would like to say that I've been involved with House of Dimitri for over 9 years now and we try our hardest to please anyone that comes in. It may look like someone is not busy, but if it is 5-10 minutes before their next appointment comes in then I'm sorry but no he/she would not be able to help you with what service you need so they would not run behind for the ones that do make an appointment.
