Went in to get son's prescription so we could order contacts and were told that he needed an appointment to get the correct contacts. We made an appointment and when we showed up they said there was no availability and we would need to make another appointment.

I went her because my insurance changed. I wanted new sunglasses and lenses for my current glasses with my new prescription. I picked out the sunglasses and they came in within a few days. I could not see. AT ALL through them. A different employee than the one who originally measured my eyes said the first girl measured my progressive spot wrong. General motors a contract with them so we have to go to them unless we want to pay out of pocket. A few years ago when I went to them and when I want to pick up my glasses I couldn’t see ya for them. So the woman took them and clean them and she asked me to put them back on and she said can you click see any better so I said no and she took him back and she clean them again and she gave them back and she says can you see any better and I looked at her and I said are you trying to insult me? I writing you because my store experience was horrible. I bypass a lot of Visionworks to come to this store because of the great experience that I had before prior to this experience. My issues was after the long wait I had after my exam to get service because lack of staffing .My other problems came after I received my initial pair of glasses that I fell in love with I pick them up wasn’t fitted correctly into them making me have constant problems with then falling off . I purchased prescription glasses from vision works in March of 2017. Was diagnosed with blood cancer in the summer of 2017. I'm not able to go into stores to shop, so it is very difficult for me to go in and take care of needs like glasses etc. It occurred to me on December 31st that I had to get glasses before 2019. I called the store closest to my home and she informed me that I had been there in March 2018. Along with the cancer is a vascular dementia, vestibular disorder, and visual problems. I bought in a pair of frames more than a week ago and was told that the lens would be ready for my frames within 7 to 10 business days, which was perfect because I was going out of town in two weeks. When I contacted Visionworks after 7 days they told me that the glasses will not be ready for 14 days now. All in all it was a horrible experience and a great inconvenience.

If I could give zero stars to the store in *********** ** and ******** **, I would. On 12/31, I opened case ******* We have been customers for many years and have appointments scheduled for 1/19. My son was having issues with his last pair of contact lenses, and I called to get a trial pair to hold him over until the appointment. Dr. **** in **********would not give a trial pair and the clerk on the phone said it was a corporate policy. I learned when I opened the case, that this is not true. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Here I am, a month after getting a new contacts prescription and the contacts are nowhere to be found. Everytime I went to pick them up they were not ordered, but they always said "we will order them today and they should arrive in a week, we will call you" but they never called. I asked for a refund and they said they had the contacts for the right eye. Seriously, what am I going to do with one contact? Patch the other like a little pirate? I've been going to VisionWorks for years. My whole family all have glasses or contacts or both. We spend a whole bunch of money on eye care each year, even with insurance. But VisionWorks has gone downhill in a big way. Now they only ever have one doctor on staff. For the past 2 days, during the week, when they're supposed to have full business hours, there hasn't been a doctor there.
