Very beautiful home and gardens great walkways and benches to rest on. Have a any kind drink at the Turtle Bar.
Beautiful grounds and gardens. Everything was decorated for Christmas - just beautiful!
An awesome place to visit. Great grounds and a beautiful home. Susan the tour guide was outstanding!!! Great Christmas decorations were a nice bonus. Expansive tour, but worth it.
From dinner to the stay in the cottages! Everything was great! Reese our bartender, Josh our waiter, and Michael our tour guide. Also Sean our golf cart driver!
We celebrated Thanksgiving there. We loved the grounds and the food and service were fabulous! My only complaint was the dessert. There was bread pudding, which was good. But the pecan pie and strawberry cheesecake were very mediocre. Where was the pumpkin or Apple pie? Anyway, had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!!
We enjoyed the Thanksgiving Day buffet. My favorites were the crawfish etouffe , the Houmas House salad, the cold boiled shrimp and the crab claws. The gardens were stunning! The peacocks were a surprise. I took dozens of photos. The statues were interesting. We didn't have time to visit the house. We will return!
