Houmas House a place of so much history, celebration of freedom and unity and an incredible experience accompanied by songs of freedom, hospitality and delicious southern cuisine. I would book any special event here for weddings, reunions, work party, birthday party or reception. It's fantastic!

We were looking into going to Oak Alley plantation. My uncle who lives in Baton Rouge suggested we try here. It was excellent! The grounds were beautiful, and our tour guide was amazing. We had a great vacation😊

Our tour guide, Susan, did a great job explaining the history of the house, pointing out stories on particular pieces that belonged to previous owners and answering any questions we had. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Cafe Burnside. I recommend the Eggplant Napoleon, Louisiana Seafood Pasta with Cajun Cream Sauce ... read more
