Amazing House, Gardens, Gift Shop & Cafe. I took over 350 photos and could have taken more but my battery died. Will be back soon to visit. I would give 10 Stars for a rating! Love to visit here! Paradise!
The Houmas House plantation is by far the most elegant and beautiful plantation here in Louisiana. It's all in the details. The grounds are absolutely exquisite! The quaint gardens and mighty oaks are a sight to behold. Craig Black, Artist and Caretaker of the Houmas House has made the most beautiful and mesmerizing living canvas to tour! A very informative experience. The perspective of the plantation owner as laid out in Houmas House is incredible. Be sure to make plans for lunch. The buffet was beyond what I could imagine. Save room for the bread pudding.
Houmas House is gorgeous! Everyone that works there is very friendly. I love that it's completely wheelchair accessible. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our day there!
Our Easter experience at Houmas House was amazing.... The food was wonderful and because it was a beautiful day, we spent over an hour just walking around the beautiful grounds. It was a perfect day
