RecommendedWe had an amazing time at Houmas House. My son and daughter in law had their wedding there. It was beautiful, and we stayed the night in the cabins. The cabins were wonderful. All the workers were great. We will definitely return.
Everything about this plantation is FANTASTIC, from the tours, gardens, restaurants, lounge, cabins and especially the wonderfully done museum. The museum is a must see for anyone interested in the history of all the plantations along both sides of the river from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. A true memorial experience, thanks to the owner and his wonderful staff.
The grounds and House are spectacular. They are immaculately maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we occupied was great, clean, modern yet fit into the style of the entire facility. The food is very good with a great variety and preparation. We most definitely recommend
My mom and I went to The carriage house for lunch yesterday. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was beautiful. The food was perfect and so delicious. Our waitress was named Lauren and the hostess was Lucy. They went above and beyond. After we were finished Bry picked us up on the golf cart and drove us right to our car! My mom is 89 so it was a little to much of a walk for her. I couldn’t recommend a place more. It is a wonderful place to go!! My sister & I took my Mama and Aunt out to the Houmas House to eat today for their Birthday. Party of 10 and Lauren did a great job! The food was delicious and everything went great! Celebrated my birthday there and Spent the night last night with great friends, had the most delicious dinner and drinks in the turtle bar. Breakfast in the morning with the heat coffee. Our house tour at 10:30 with Samantha maybe her name, was so informative and the house is magnificent. Ive done this trip before and certainly will again.
Toured today and our host Ms. Danielle along with Desiree gave a wonderful tour of the Houmas House along with a stroll along the gardens in a light rain made for a great day! Highly recommended!

Amazing time at Houmas House! The grounds were beautiful and the staff spectacular. I highly recommend a visit here! Blows Oak Alley away!
