Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon there today. After the tour, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Latil’s! Excellent food and service. So nice to leave the busy city of New Orleans and the sightseeing there to this serene plantation!!!!!!

Beautiful! Absolutely loved the tour. Our guide, Klay, was awesome. Very informative, even on random subjects, not just the main points.
Truly an amazing place & experience! Our mansion tour guide, Clay, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly, & accommodating. He was happy to answer my (many) questions, and you can tell he enjoys what he does. He is a genuine ambassador for Houmas House. If you’re planning a River Road experience, this place should be your top priority. If you’re an art lover, you’ll be in heaven with the collection displayed in the mansion.
