The perfect place for a bridal luncheon! The Carriage House is quite elegant, and the food is superb! Josephine was our hostess, and she was amazing!
Best Garden I've been. Gorgeous. Don't miss the lunch party where eggplant dates crab meat, and bread pudding sings rhythms of love. ♥️
We have stayed at Houmas House on several occasions. We loved it so much we chose to spend our honeymoon here. Even though we stayed for five nights for our honeymoon, we were not ready to leave. We love dining at the Carriage House! The golf cart drivers, Adam, Clay, and Brady were awesome young men and we felt like we knew them well by the end of our stay. We would encourage anyone to stay at Houmas House!
Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon enjoying the beautiful gardens and fabulous dinner at Carriage House. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
Beautiful grounds & Home. The tour was fantastic & enjoyed it immensely. My new favorite plantation now.
Beautiful and full of southern charm!

We could have stayed and enjoyed it all day and another night, but we were on our way to New Orleans and had to be in our way... read more

It was incredible to hear the history of the plantation and the part it played in the war. The Plantation's interior takes you back to that period and our historian Sandy was fantastic. The story of Le Gargonnier is very cool and so is the Plantation Mascot Maggie. I hope Sandy and Maggie will one day have that Pygmy goat they both want. We... read more
