Worst place ever. And Jeramy from the back was the rudest person ever. List of complaints. Just don't go there. Asked for the owners name they wouldn't give it to me. They need to close their doors.
Moved to Vail about 10 months ago and finally decided to try out Hot Rods. While the restaurant and bar are quite unique with the garage theme, the food and service are simply mediocre. I ordered: pulled pork, coleslaw and french fries. I was brought pulled pork, mashed potatoes and beans. (?) The 'pulled pork' resembled something that was sliced from a loaf and chopped up into chunks, the mashed potatoes were more like potato pudding and the beans were 'right out of the can'. Had the daily special. Chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy bowl. Very good. Took half of it home.

Terrible service. Food was ok , but our server was awful and the place only had maybe 5 tables.

Their food and service has gone downhill. Chicken tenders were dry and no taste. Grandson had a calzone that was more cheese and very little sauce. Shrimp basket had no taste-the appetizers were good but from the appetizers to the meal-LONG wait. We saw people who came in after us get their meals and almost finish before we got our meals. Probably won't go back there.

Atmosphere was great....waitstaff was very nice and on top of things....but the food, HORRIBLE! Sad when you have a restaurant with a great theme, and then the food just sucks the joy right out of it.
