Friendly staff, clean hotel, good price – clean, safe, nice hotel. Small with a very friendly staff, quaint lobby and clean rooms with good bedding. Great price or the value.
Great after work place! – I like this place quite a bit. It is a great place to relax after work. It gets a sometimes full crowd, but everyone is very nice and it is easy to feel comfortable here.

Beautiful Hotel and Location – My wife came into the City over the Thanksgiving weeked for a "date night." We chose Hotel Vitale after reading about it on Citysearch and were not disappointed. The service was great and we were upgraded to a room with 180 degree views of the Bay! What a surprise. The room was spacious, spotless and of couse the view from the Ferry Building to the Bay Bridge. Check out the roof while you are staying there as well. We'd be back for sure.
We like Hillary!!! – I put this review on YELP! So I figured I put it on Citysearch too. I have been going to Americano for over a year now on a regular basis. Usually with people from my office. Great staff and fun setting – I highly recommend Hotel Del Sol. I came in from New York with my girlfriend and chose Hotel Del Sol after a family member suggested it. The staff was personable and eager to please and the setting and rooms were colorful and fun yet comfortable. The free parking came in handy and there were plenty of great restaurants / shops in the area. I recommend Perry's, which is on Union. I needed a few pieces of clothing dry cleaned and they accommodated me very well.
Helpful and friendly staff – Was there weekend 9/28. Service was wonderful, everyone very helpful and friendly. Received great suggestions from front desk as to what to do/places to eat. Enjoyed the travel decor as well as the wine tasting!! We walked nearly everywhere, from union square to chinatown... Would definitely stay there again :)
Enjoyed my stay – Hotel Vitale is a great place to say. Maybe they have one employee who is rude? Which hotel doesn't? I read what the author said, "emotional violence", what a ninny, grow up, and have a whiskey. As for the hotel: the beds are nice and clean, and the staff is a bit distant, but this is on Mission so they have lots of nutjobs out and about so take the time to get to know them, like you should do at any hotel, or any new environment; the more intrest you take in other, the more they will in you. Don't support this prejudiced hotel – I am so glad I found out about the incident whereupon the prejudiced Hotel Manager ignorantly demanded that N'gugi wa Thiong'o leave the premises of this Hotel. This blatant display of racism is despicable and I'm so grateful didn't book my vacation at this hotel! It's very sad that websites continue to recommend it thusly despite this appalling information.
