We recently returned to Hotel Van Zandt for a special weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. Having stayed here before and created wonderful memories, it felt like the perfect place to revisit — and it did not disappoint. We took advantage of the Summer Splash special, which included credits for the Pool Bar and Brass Poppy. From start to finish, the staff at Hotel Van Zandt made our experience feel very personal. Each staff member was friendly, helpful and available to us at every turn. We loved the entire property...from the vast and warm lobby space to our spacious suite, from the pool to the restaurants and bars...it was not just a place to sleep while we explored Austin but a place we wanted to make time for! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

Spent a couple of nights on a short business trip to Austion. The room was spacious and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated as is the main bar. I grabbed breakfast at the 605 Cafe in the hotel and the potato, egg, and cheese taco was delicious. I also had dinner at Giraldi's and the Halibut dish was outstanding.

After staying at Van Zandt twice now, I can confidently say it’s one of the best in Austin. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and have such a fun, unique vibe that makes the stay feel special. From the moment you arrive, the staff goes above and beyond—being welcomed at the front desk with a friendly smile (and even a drink!) sets the tone right away. The valet team was just as impressive, handling our car and parking with absolute ease and professionalism. They don’t miss any details! Highly recommend!
