Lovely stay at Hotel Van Zandt! Fresh water upon arrival. Check in was smooth and seamless thanks to the extremely helpful Manager, Eric. They brought my luggage up for me - another helpful bonus point thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff. The Grace Suite on floor 14 was very clean and offered amazing views of the city as well as the river area. The only downside was not having a Bible provided by the hotel in my room. Hotel Van Zandt was an incredible experience. The hotel has such a fun, vibrant atmosphere while still feeling upscale and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The only minor downside is that you can hear the live music from inside the room. The good news is it ends at a reasonable hour, so it didn't interfere with a good night's sleep. Overall, an amazing stay with fantastic vibes, excellent accommodations, and a location that's hard to beat. I'd absolutely stay here again.

I chose to stay at the Van Zandt because I had some critical business meetings and wanted to be able to leverage the beautiful lobby and cafe. I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and this is "the Edit" property. This means I get a $250 credit on my next statement and a whole host of additional benefits and amenities, as you can see from the letter. Absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were beyond spacious and the location was incredible. We enjoyed waking only a block to Rainey Street. The decor was so Austin with a Texas flare. The restaurant was in a top 3 must eat for brunch and it did not disappoint. Jazz with and DJ!! Can’t wait to come stay again soon.

Front desk was awesome (Angela, Farhar and Eric), Bar is large, relaxing and has a great ambiance. Drinks are a little pricey but they do give out tokens at check in for an Old Fashioned or Margarita; bartenders are also super nice! Highly recommend the burgers in the bar. The restaurant upstairs was nice but a “different” menu with mostly upscale Southwest Mexican offerings. Rooms are a nice size, clean and comfortable.
