Wonderful experience under the new management. We've been here twice before under the previous owners and the experience was just so-so. We went with family and friends for the Lit by the Sun series for our first time. OMG, blown out of the water by their special accommodations (allergies to down/feathers), welcoming and cheerful staff, and fabulous dinner and concert. Had a wonderful stay! The experience from inquiry call to check-out was superb! Staff was friendly, the food very well done, and the hotel itself was fantastic! Very clean and beautiful room and common areas. The ladies at the Copper Door Spa were top notch as well! Will come visit again!
We had a wonderful stay this weekend for our 15th Anniversay. The staff was wonderful, the room was very nice and dinner was fantastic. We will certainly return.
My husband and I stayed the night at the hotel 16 years ago when we were married. For our anniversary this year, we returned for a night and had the most fantastic time. The staff was wonderful, our room was quaint, and The Milwaukee Diner had great service. I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants a short get away!
Had a reservation today for restaurant at 1pm and the food, drinks, and service were top notch. Can't wait to go again!!
Wonderful weekend getaway! The Arts & Crafts era decor in the public spaces gives the hotel a warm and inviting feel. The rooms are very unique and worth checking out as many as you can. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back!
My family and I stayed on the way from Minneapolis to KC. Food was superb as was the service. We'll be back in '15.
