Just checked in and been to the 11th floor bar to see the sunset and some drinks and food. Our room is lovely and the food drink and service at the bar were fantastic. Been to a a few places on the Pacific coast and so far this is my favourite.
Lovely view from 11th floor restaurant, which closes way too early, most of the time the whole place was like the Marie Celeste : empty and a bit creepy. Rumour has it there used to be an outdoor bar but the evidence is long gone. Ancient electrics in the room so make sure you're charged before you arrive as none of the usb sockets work. First hotel in the last five years to charge me $15/day for WiFi. Bed was ok and shower was hot but heh it's a hotel.
