The 11th-floor Clay's restaurant offers live jazz and a great view of the Pacific.

The only thing great about this hotel is the entrance and the great service valet attendants provide. The woman in front desk in the pm is a disgrace to this hotel and should not be allowed to work there. Having said that, the bedding was DISGUSTING and looked liked someone died on top of them. I asked for it to be changed twice and it never was!!. We had to buy our own bedding and ended up going to a resort in Cordova. La Jolla was awesome. Why would this hotel provide a physical gift certificate to a religious nonprofit fundraiser with an expiration date of June 2016 then claim it expires in Dec 2015 when we attempted to make reservations & use it iaw their rules? What kind of business are they running? Color me disappointed, hugely disappointed, with their backpedaling and lack of integrity. You can fix the problem, but not the damage to this hotel's reputation.
