Lovely being warmly welcomed by Jared on arrival and being shown out suites. Each suites was different and quietly tasteful and restful. On site restaurant, Terrae is highly recommended. We managed to get a table for a late dinner on a busy Saturday night. Portions were generous, the beef, the fish and the duck mains were very well presented and tasty. Thank you Martin for the hotel tour on check in. My husband and I booked a one night stay and were very kindly upgraded to a more spacious room. Loved the vault bar and all the artworks and design books. Dinner at Terrae was a highlight with wonderful service by our waitress (cannot remember her name). The food was delicious. One small thing, the bedside lighting was not adequate for we old folks to read by.
A bit of a late review here, but it was wonderful staying at Hotel Ernest. Our room overlooked the adjacent park so there was always something interesting to see. The meal at Terrae downstairs was great. The hotel and restaurant combine to form a special place.
