Our car's windshield was destroyed by a golf ball from the surrounding course making it unsafe to operate and filling the front seats with glass shards. We were parked in their guest paid parking, and they refused all liability despite no warnings posted. Additionally while our vehicle was parked in the lot waiting on the tow truck the valets moved it without permission to the free public dirt lot to make that space available.

Hotel Effie is the perfect spot for a staycation. The location within Sandestin could not be better with everything close by and easy to access. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well kept. Service was great and the overall atmosphere makes it a place I will definitely return to.

Colby was great, fast delivering our luggage, I had given his tip to the valet, not knowing they are 3rd party, but they got it to him. Fast easy check-in Colby gave us several good restaurants based on our food preferences.. the view is fantastic. Great atmosphere

Very nice hotel that stays smelling, feeling, and looking clean! It’s location also makes it very easy to walk to the baytown village that had many restaurants and shops. When we arrived to the hotel and shared the excitement of the occasion being our honeymoon, we were sent chocolate covered strawberries. Many employees of the hotel were very polite, kind, and helpful. Other employees did seem more resistant to helping us especially compared to others who were older or maybe appeared more “wealthy”.
