Would have been 4 stars if not for Alma. The property is clean and kept up, so I feel good about my grandparents living there. However, I wish a more compassionate and considerate person managed the property. Alma is not helpful, and she even comes off as rude and inconsiderate. My grandmother asked Alma if she would sit with her while the paramedics came to pick her up, and Alma told her she had too many things to do. This wonderful place offers more than just a nice place to call home. Hotel Dieu is a safe, well-maintained low-income housing for seniors. The name "Hotel Dieu", means Gods Hotel in French. The seniors residing at Hotel Dieu have access to a housekeeping cleaning service, inside laundry, a beautiful chapel, an arts and crafts room, an indoor/outdoor courtyard, a media and Library room, monthly events, and most importantly, a lively active community!
