I love this hotel! I take the train from Grand Junction a couple times a month and stay here. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable. The people who work here are kind and sweet. And I love the coffee shop and restaurant that are attached to the hotel. Five stars!
Great location, but it was overpriced for the accommodations. The barn door style bathroom door is completely unacceptable at the price point.
We stay in Glenwood Springs 2-3 x per year with our dog and don't normally stay in a hotel because he's a big boy. However, this year I-70 closed and we weren't able to go home and needed a quick place to stay for one night while we waited to the freeway to open up. Stayed the weekend of Nov 21st for 3 nights and we loved our stay here! Perfect location walking distance to everything in the area with ease. Everything was very clean and in great shape. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and well appointed. Low water pressure would be my only issue by common in older buildings so no worries. Loved the history and finally the staff where always very nice. Will stay here again for sure.
