Built in 1888, Hotel del Coronado's world-famous all-wood Victorian beauty is worth a visit from all San Diego tourists. In the original building, no two rooms are alike but all are breathtaking and well appointed with antique furniture. Fine dining includes 1500 OCEAN and the Crown Room. There is dancing at the hotel on weekends. Popular with presidents, royalty and movie stars, rumor claims The "Del" is a favorite with ghosts, as well.

Most inefficient parking ever. $20 per hour to park at the hotel. It took 30 minutes to pay and for the valet to bring the car. At those prices, you can hire more staff Coronado.

This is a very classic and historic hotel in San Diego. Even if you don’t plan on staying here as a guest is a good place to visit while you are in the city.

What a beautiful Hotel! Everything is so spacious and pretty! The lobby is incredible and the Villa’s are from heaven!
If California in general is overpriced, this must be Dubai.
Worth the trip to walk around and see the property
The hotel just celebrated 130 years. Everything is pricey but the food is excellent and the staff helpful.
