Amazing wooden construction, beautiful hotel 🏼 it's worth the visit even if you're not staying there.

Hollywood discovered 'the Del' during the era of prohibition. Many celebrities came here including Douglas Fairbanks, Rudolph Valentino, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn and Mae West.
It is one of the few surviving examples of an American architectural genre: the wooden Victorian beach resort. It is the second largest wooden structure in the United States.
