The Hotel Angeleno I remembered this hotel when it was a Holiday Inn when I went to UCLA. It has gone a major overhaul and is not the same hotel. Although it is right next to the San Diego Freeway and our room overlooked it, it was quiet, unless the balcony door was open. There is a restaurant and bar on the top floor with a fabulous view.
Don't go This hotel is no longer here - it is the Hotel Angeleno...which is actually a much better place now that it is no longer the "round Holiday Inn!!" The concierge is very helpful
Close to Getty This is a remodelled Holiday Inn. You definitely want a room not facing the freeway. The rooms are a good size for Los Angeles. IT is down the hill from the Getty Art Museum.
5 Star Rating Plus I stayed in the Hotel Angeleno this past July and It was simply "Spectacular" The hotel is beautiful, the layout and design is very sheek; The staff were all wonderful and provided excellent service at all times, and always eager to provide service with a smile. The prices are excellent for the location and atmosphere. The hotel is not far from Venice Beach and Santa Monica. If you want to vacation and be treated like royalty, Hotel Angeleno is the place to be!!
