Wonderful, modern clean hotel. My family members stayed there as well so we had different room types. I was in a premium one bedroom suite with a kitchen and two balconies. Very bright, light filled rooms. It was incredibly spacious. Very comfortable for a long term stay. I utilized the focus room/office and lobby when I wanted a change of scenery to get work done. Clean rooms (my #1 requirement), great location for taking the metro or walking to nearby restaurants, friendly staff, and wonderful customer service! We look forward to staying again in the near future.
Just simply the best stay we have had in the US, and I have stayed in a lot of different hotels so far. Not to mention, I stayed at 2 other hotels before finalizing on my stay here. The greatest compliment is to the staff - from the doormen who welcomed you “home” every single time, to the attentive and super responsive concierge who dealt with my concerns right away (it was the bedroom’s AC). Hotel was beautiful and extremely clean. The staff were incredible and always treated us with a smile! The only downside to the rooms was that the AC made a loud banging sound every time it turned on—which ended up waking me up several times in the night. Would definitely stay again once that AC issue is fixed because everything else was perfect.
For the love of god avoid this hotel. The AC is faulty (and seems to have been for some time) - and you will be sleeping in 85 degrees heat. I regret prepaying. Management totally set up the front desk to deal with unhappy customers - not a manager to be seen anywhere. I will be avoiding AKA in the future.
