I stayed here 3 times and everytime was just worth the stay. Get breakfast in the morning, They have a swimming pool, and hot tub, gym room, great service, and the staff very polite i would tell others about this place
First time back after a couple of years. Loved the concrete floors as I find them appealing and so much cleaner than carpet. My room was near perfect and everything worked. Breakfast could be better but was adequate. Going back Christmas and New Years.
Best hotel for price and location. If your looking for cheap stay with decent rooms there's no other choice.
My family of four stayed overnight recently. Considering this place was recommended to us by a friend who stays here on a regular basis, that person’s credibility is now in serious question. Truly, save your sanity and book a different hotel. This place is merely an outdated relic dressed in a slick Art Deco paint job. Ok urban area, walked in off street car transit from airport ate at neighborhood restaurant. In the morning walked to National car rental for car for week. Took Camelback Rd west to Brewers spring training, and east to Scottsdale, hiking Pistawa Mtn., & FLW. Flat screen in room was nice for watching NCAA basketball tourney.
The floors are not carpeted and appear unfinished (not decorative, just concrete with seams and all showing). The bathroom fan did not work, the toilet would not stop flushing, and the faucet would not stop dripping. Also, the cleanliness is questionable. Hair from the previous occupant was still all over the bathroom sink, etc. This review was written after spending all of about 15 minutes in my room… Who knows what else I will find.
