The hotel is perfectly located. As with most new York's rooms it's compact. The rooms are clean and quite modern. Staff friendly. Can't fault it. If you are a light sleeper you may pick up on street noise. Would definitely use this hotel again.
RecommendedSuper bonne adresse et personnel très sympa et à l'ecoute. Les chambres sont un peu petites mais cosys et super propres et nous avions une vue imprennable sur l'Empire State Building !!! Une adresse que je recommande chaudement.
Recently, I chose the U Hotel Fifth Avenue as lodging for my past Grammy Weekend Trip. I am a Houston based Traveling Photographer. The U Hotel was sheek and very clean. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff throughout the entire day. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Rooms- The room was not as big as I had hope but I can say it was very clean and comfortable. It's definitely a spot you should check out if you are traveling solo or need a nice room in Manhattan.
What a great little hotel in a fantastic spot; virtually opposite the Empire State Building. The rooms are small, but very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I've been to New York several times but I think that this is the only hotel I would return to. The staff are very friendly, and nothing is too much bother for them. Had trouble getting the TV to work one day, rang reception and somebody came straight up to the room and fixed it. Nice hotelroom. Bath was bigger than i expected. Nice welcoming staff too. We asked for higher level floor room at checkin as the starbucks music was super loud at 6 am.
