In a word- average – I don't know- perhaps it's because my palate has gotten more discerning. Perhaps it's all those cooking shows. Perhaps it's chef Gordon Ramsay's mantra: Respect the food. It may be a combination of all of the above, but in the end, the Hot Plate just didn't live up to expectations. Great food, minor disappointment at first, ended up perfect! – I placed an order tonight, and because of a medication I took which advises me to not to drive, I had to request delivery. I wanted them to add some Coke or Pepsi to the order, and they promptly told me that a can of Pepsi costs $1.00 a piece. I just about fell out of my chair upon hearing that. $1.00 for a 12oz can of Pepsi is criminal. Needless to say I told them "no".
